Lily's First Tooth!

Lily wiggles her tooth with her tongue. It moves! "Mom! My tooth is loose!" she shouts. Mom smiles. "The tooth fairy will come soon," she says.  

At school, Lily's tooth pops out! She can't wait to show Mom her special surprise.  

Finally, it's time to go home! Everyone wants to see Lily's tooth. "Please, Lily, show us!" She opens her hand slowly... but just then, she bumps into a friend! The tooth is gone!  

"Oh no! My tooth!" Lily cries. "My tooth is lost!"  

When Mom arrives, Lily runs to her. "Mommy! I lost my tooth!" Mom hugs her and says, "The tooth fairy will find it."  

Lily comes to understand that even the most precious things sometimes have to say goodbye. She learns about loss and parting.
